CABBAGE SLAW | |
3 lbs. shredded cabbage 1 chopped green pepper 1 grated carrot 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. salt 4 tbsp. sugar 1 1/4 c. white vinegar 1 c. salad oil Combine first 4 ingredients. In a saucepan combine remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and pour over vegetable mixture. Slaw improves with standing, even overnight. Keeps well for several days. |
