CRAB SHALLOW 
4 lg. (30 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 lg. (30 oz.) cans water
2 onions
2 bell peppers
2 bay leaves
Garlic
Salt and pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 or 3 doz. crabs, cleaned (left in shell)

Saute bell pepper, onions and garlic. Add tomato sauce, water and seasoning in a large pot. Mix all ingredients together and let simmer on low for about 30 minutes. Then add crabs. Let simmer about 20 minutes more. Serve with Cuban bread. You can use French bread or put on top of spaghetti. Enjoy.

I use 1 lg. can of tomato puree 1 can tomato sauce, fresh garlic abut three thumbs lg. bell pepper lg. onion, some scallions chopped fine if you have some..2 cans of clams minced . a dash of hot sauce, and a double dash of Worcestershire sauce...toss in a peeled potato too, boy is that good to eat when the sauce is done....I put this sauce over macaroni shells, I have made this for over 50 years...Hope you guys enjoy it..good luck, it is delicious. I also put in a couple pounds of shrimp, can't hurt.
