NORWEGIAN FRUIT SOUP | |
4 tbsp. pearl tapioca 1/2 lb. prunes 1/4 lb. apricots Dried peaches, etc. or 1 lb. mixed dried fruit 3/4 c. sugar 1 orange, sliced with peel 1 lemon, sliced with peel 3 apples, sliced 1 stick cinnamon Soak dried fruit, tapioca, sugar, cinnamon, orange, and lemon in enough water to cover overnight. In morning, add diced apples and enough water to make "soupy" and cook over medium heat until fruit is soft. May be served hot or cold. |
