OVEN BARBECUED BABY BACK RIBS
4 racks of pork baby back ribs
Your favorite barbecue sauce (I like Sweet & Smoky)

Cover 2 cookie sheets with foil. Place ribs flat on sheets. Cover with more foil. Bake in very slow oven, 300 to 325 degrees for about 3 hours. Drain off excess grease during this time. When ribs are completely tender, generously spread them on both sides with sauce. Continue to bake covered until the sauce is absorbed into the ribs. It may be necessary to add more sauce during this time, about 30 to 45 minutes.

OPTION: If you want to, place ribs on the Bar-B-Q for the final step.

I recommend you lay the foil in your pyrex baking dish and place (wrapped) ribs on foil. Bake 3 hours, unfold foil and cover ribs with sauce. Bake an additional 45 min to an hour.

I made ribs today following your cooking instructions and it came out WONDERFUL! Thanks a bunch!

Low and Slow is the way to GO!

I bought those bbq sauce packets and used as a rub on the meat overnight; cooked in the oven. Took it out @ the 3 hour mark and added 'Kraft Honey BBQ Sauce' mixed with EXTRA amounts of honey, brown sugar, and ketchup and slathered that on before finishing the cooking process for an additional 45 mins. They came out AWESOME!!

I am a rookie never cooked a rib in my life... I bought a rack of baby backs about 3 months ago and finally decided that it was time to give it a try... I had a cookie sheet, old BBQ sauce, honey and cayenne pepper powder! i de-thawwed the ribs, rubbed it with honey, sprinkled cayenne pepper powder over them liberally then put in plastic bag of BBQ sauce for about 4 hours. I put my piece of crap apartment electric oven to 300°F to preheat! I wrapped the ribs in aluminum foil and let them bake 3 hours! Most amazing ribs i have had ever eaten! Easy, easy, easy, seriously easy! Fell off the bone! my favorite meal now.... Thanks for this!!!!!

I made mine in a roasting pan with a lid. Cooked for 3 hours then put em on a cookie sheet with sauce for a half hour. They were great. I also made a gravy with the drippings in the pan, sooo good. Thanx for helping with my dish.

Best recipe I've found for oven baby backs!! Used my broiler pan double foil lined. Covered the pan with ribs in it with a piece of foil. Tightly sealed the edges of the pan. Set oven @300°F. When I went to turn the ribs after coating one side with BBQ sauce, they were falling apart! Yummy!! Will be sharing this with family and friends! Thanks Cooks.com!!

We added a mop of lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and vegetable oil. These were very good.

This all sounds good but you should bbq them first for about 30 minutes to brown them up real good.

YUM! I followed Ebonham from Cali. The only thing different I did was to do it all in a roasting bag~less mess that way andreally sealed in all the flavor.

I baked these in the oven exactly as directed the day before, then when I got home from work, cut them, slathered on the sauce and baked for about 25 min on 350°F. Had my ribs done before I finished my salad and set the table! Awesome supper that took virtually no time to throw together the next day! Thank you!!!!

This is the best recipe! The ribs were falling off the bone. Cooking slow at 300°F in my electric stove turned out some yum yum ribs. Thanks a bunch. My sauce was great too, I added the tid bit of lemon juice that a previous reviewer recommended and it was GREAT. Thanks a bunch !

I used Emeril's Essence rub on my ribs. Wrapped them in Saran wrap and placed them in fridge over night. Placed them in a covered roasting pan meat side down. Cooked at 225°F for 4 hours. Yes 225°F. Remove lid and turn over and put sauce on them and place back into oven uncovered for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
