CHEESE STRAWS 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. sharp cheese
2 c. plain flour
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Grate cheese, mix well with butter. Add flour and red pepper. Knead until butter and cheese are thoroughly mixed. Chill in refrigerator. Roll to 1/8 inch thick, cut into strips with tracing wheel. Bake in oven 450 degrees until brown.
