ITALIAN CASSEROLE 
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/3 c. water (clean out jar)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) box lasagna noodles
8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Cook ground beef and onions together; drain off grease. Add spaghetti sauce, water, salt, basil, oregano and pepper. Cook several minutes to blend. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. In 9 x 13 inch pan or dish, arrange part of the meat mixture on the bottom, not too much.

Add 3 of the noodles, then repeat with meat. Keep layering, ending with meat on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes. Cut into squares to serve. About 12.
