CHERYL'S CREAM PUFFS | |
A pinch of salt 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. melted shortening 1 c. sifted flour 3 eggs Add pinch of salt to water. Mix 1/2 cup shortening with water and remove from heat after mixture boils. Add cup of flour to mixture and stir. Add one half of the beaten eggs to mixture and mix thoroughly. Then add the other half of the eggs. Mix again. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Grease cookie tin lightly. Heap large spoonfuls of dough onto cookie pan. Keep them about 2" apart. Mold dough into round mounds. Prepare one package instant vanilla pudding. Do not let cold air into the oven during first 15 minutes the puffs are baking or they will fall. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool and make a small hole in puff. Spoon in the pudding. |
