BEEF POTATOES AU GRATIN 
1/4 lb. dried beef
4 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. flour
1 med. chopped onion
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 c. chopped celery
4 med. potatoes, sliced
4 oz. pkg. cheese

Shred beef and brown with onion in the shortening. Blend in the flour and add milk. Boil until it thickens. Add celery, potatoes, and the cheese. Place in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
