STRAWBERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix
3 tbsp. flour, sifted
1 box strawberry gelatin dessert (dry)
3/4 c. cooking oil
3 tbsp. flour, sifted
4 eggs
1/2 c. frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 c. water

Add flour, gelatin, water, oil and unbeaten eggs to cake mix in bowl. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed with mixer or beat until smooth. Add the thawed strawberries and beat 1 minute or until thoroughly mixed. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Frost when cool with strawberry frosting.

STRAWBERRY FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. strawberries, thawed
1 box confectioners' sugar

Cream butter until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar, a few tablespoons at a time and salt. Add strawberries as needed to mix sugar. Beat thoroughly.
