POTS AU CREME 
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. Cointreau liqueur (or rum, brandy, or 1 tsp. vanilla)

Scald the milk. Remove from the stove.

Put all the other ingredients in a blender, chocolate chips first. Add the hot milk. Blend on high for 2 minutes.

Pour immediately into 4 or 5 small cups (demitasse size). Don't fill cups more than 3/4 full because this is very rich. Put cups in the refrigerator. They harden in less than 30 minutes.

Top with whipped cream just before serving.
