GOOD CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. (sifted) all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add milk gradually. (Flour, cocoa and baking powder should be sifted together.) Add 1/3 of flour mixture at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla, mix well. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a tube pan (or in a 10x15 pan) for 1 hour. Frost with Cool Whip.
