HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
1 med. chopped onion 1/2 green pepper 1 lb. chuck roast, cut in sqs. 1/2 c. red wine (optional) 1/2 c. tomatoes 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. paprika Pinch thyme Brown onions and meat. Add all ingredients and simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. May be thickened slightly with cornstarch. Serve over noodles (cooked and rinsed quickly with cold water). |
