CHERRY COCA COLA SALAD 
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 sm. can cherry pie filling
2 (3 oz.) boxes cherry gelatin
1 (2 lb.) can crushed pineapple, not drained
1 can coca cola
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

8 oz. bar of cream cheese
1 sm. container Cool Whip
1 sm. pkg. chopped nuts
1 c. powdered sugar

Heat sugar and water to boiling. Add cherry pie filling and bring to a boil again. Pour over gelatin, stirring to dissolve. Add pineapple and juice, coca cola, lemon juice, and nuts, mixing well. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan; chill. Let Jello set before adding topping.

Topping: Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whip cream. Spread on top and garnish with nuts.
