2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. cold water
12 tbsp. oil
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 c. cold water

Use only 1/2 of all ingredients per pan. Sift dry ingredients into an 8" square pan, ungreased. Make 3 holes in dry ingredients. Pour oil in first hole, vinegar in second, vanilla in third. Pour cold water over all, stir with fork until evenly blended. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt together; fold in chocolate chips.
