DELI PICKLES 
2 1/2 qt. water
1/2 c. canning salt
3/4 c. vinegar

Bring water to a boil, cool. Slice cucumbers, add dill, garlic, onion, jalapeno if desired. Pour cool solution over cucumbers. Put in refrigerator. Ready to eat after 3 days. Makes 1 gallon.
