Cool. Cream: 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 well beaten eggs

Stir in date mixture and blend. Add: 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt

Pour mixture into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread with: 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1 c. chocolate chips

Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done.
