CHOCOLATE CORNSTARCH PUDDING 
Melt in double boiler:

Stir in slowly: 1 3/4 c. milk 1/8 tsp. salt

Heat these ingredients to the boiling point.

Dissolve:

Stir the cornstarch slowly into the hot milk mixture. Cook over boiling water for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes more until you can no longer taste the cornstarch. Cool by stirring very gently. When slightly cool, add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
