MAPLE CHICKEN 
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. chicken or 2 lbs. boned chicken
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 c. chopped almonds
2 tsp. lemon juice

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place chicken in a shallow baking pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake for one hour uncovered. Baste occasionally.
