1 bag coconut
15 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 box butter recipe cake mix
1 med. bowl Cool Whip
1 jar cherries

Bake cake according to box. Drain juice out of canned pineapple. Poke holes in cake and pour juice over cake. Mix coconut, pineapple and Cool Whip together; spread cherries across top of cake. Put cherries on top (optional).
