SAUSAGE RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. minute rice
1 can chicken noodle soup
1/2 can water
1 lb. pork sausage
1 sm. can mushrooms, sliced & stems

Brown sausage slightly, add the onion and celery and continue to brown. Bring the chicken noodle soup to boil, add mushrooms and 1 cup of rice. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Before taking out of oven add sliced almonds, stir into rice. If you use raw rice, bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. If it should become dry while baking add water or chicken bouillon.
