OATMEAL JUMBLES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. rolled oats (uncooked)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. grated orange peel

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until fluffy. Blend in egg, vanilla and orange peel. Sift together flour, and baking powder. Add to creamy mix and blend well. Blend in milk. Stir in rolled oats, nutmeats, raisins and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven (325 degrees) for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly brown.
