CAKE AND CREAM COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter, softened
8 oz. pkg. soft cream cheese
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. cake mix, chocolate or vanilla (dry, not mixed)

Cream the butter and cream cheese. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla. Add 1/3 of the cake mix and blend well. Add 1/3 of the cake mix and blend well. Add the last of the cake mix and blend well again. Cover and put in icebox about 30 minutes. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
