COOKIE 'N CREAM CAKE 
CAKE:

1 pkg. white cake mix
1/3 c. oil
1 1/4 c. water
3 egg whites
2 c. coarsely crushed cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies

FROSTING:

3 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients except cookies, mix at low speed until moistened, then beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Gently stir in cookies. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar, shortening, vanilla, and 2 egg whites; blend well. Beat in remaining powdered sugar until frosting is smooth and creamy. Frost top of cake. Crumble 1-2 cookies for garnish. 12 servings.
