NAVY CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. hot water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. Make a well, and add other ingredients. Mix well, then pour into 9x13 inch ungreased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. While still warm, spread on Richmond Frosting.
