BUTTERMILK PECAN PIE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream sugar and melted butter. Add flour and eggs alternately. Add vanilla and buttermilk. Pour in pie shell and sprinkle crushed pecans on top. Turn oven back to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour. Yield: 2 pies.
