NO KNEADING CRESCENT ROLLS | |
1 cake yeast 1/4 c. lukewarm water 1/4 c. butter 1 beaten egg 1 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. boiling water 3 1/2 c. flour Add boiling water to butter, salt and sugar. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. When lukewarm add beaten egg and yeast mixture. Mix in 3 1/2 cups flour. Place in greased bowl and chill. Can use from 2 to 24 hours. Chill at least 2 hours. I grease my palms and roll 3 small balls of dough per muffin tin. Makes 12 3-tier dinner rolls. Bake 425 degrees 15 to 20 minutes or until done. |
