ACORN SQUASH | |
2 (1 lb.) acorn squash Butter Brown sugar Place squashes in microwave, on HIGH (100%) for 2 minutes, to make them easier to cut. Cut squashes in half lengthwise. Scoop out and discard fibrous center and seeds. Place squash halves, cut side down into large shallow microwave-safe dish and cover. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 11 minutes or until tender. Serve immediately with a teaspoon of butter and a little brown sugar. |
