1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup Sundrop soda

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Cream butter and shortening and add sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then add flavorings, flour, then Sundrop soda.

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour 15 minutes.
