CABBAGE BURGERS | |
2 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 med. cabbage 1 onion 2 loaves frozen bread dough A little water Salt Pepper Onion salt Crisco Brown hamburger; drain off grease. Set aside. Steam cut up cabbage and diced onion. Let water cook out. Mix with meat; season to taste. Let bread raise once. Cut loaves in half. Roll each half out one at a time. Cut into 4 squares. Put mixture in center. Bring 4 corners to center. Pinch together. Place on cookie sheet; brush with melted Crisco. Let raise 30 minutes. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown. After they cool, they may be frozen and reheated in microwave. Serve with mustard |
