HEARTY BEEF AND CHEESE PIE 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 egg, slightly beaten
8 oz. (2 c.) Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury quick crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large fry pan brown beef, onion, peppers; drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic salt, and salt. Simmer while preparing crust. Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Place in ungreased 9 inch pie pan. Press over bottom and up sides. Combine eggs and cheese. Spread 1/2 over crust. Spoon hot meat into crust. Sprinkle with remaining cheese over the top. Bake 25 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
