HAWAIIAN CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. coconut
1/2 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar; beat egg. Stir in pineapple, chips and coconut. Mix well. Add flour and baking soda. Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. 4 dozen cookies.
