CHEESE KRISPIES | |
1/2 lb. butter, softened 1 lb. Cheddar cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 c. flour 2 c. Rice Krispies Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together butter and cheese, add salt and pepper. Blend in flour and Rice Krispies. Form into balls the size of walnuts and place on ungreased baking sheets. Dip a fork in water and flatten each ball. Refrigerate until chilled. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not brown. Serve warm or store in tightly covered tin. Serves 25-30 minutes. |
