2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs, beaten
4 c. diced apples
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts

Combine sugar, oil, eggs and apples. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda. Stir into apple mixture until all ingredients are well moistened. Add nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cream cheese icing. Serve warm.
