MOTHER LEE'S FRUIT CAKE 
12 eggs
1 lb. butter
1 lb. grated coconut
4 c. flour
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
4 c. fig preserves
4 c. watermelon rinds, preserves
3 oranges, cut fine
3 apples, cut fine
All kinds of flavorings
1 lb. cyrstalized cherries
1 lg. box raisins
1 lg. box currants
1 lg. box dates
1 lb. prunes, cooked
1 lb. sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
2 c. nuts, chopped, mixed

Beat eggs, flour, sugar and butter. Add rest of ingredients. Bake 2 1/2 - 3 hours, 250 degrees. Makes 20 pounds of fruit cake.
