SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS 
1 1/2 c. raisins

CRUST:

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

FILLING:

2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cornstarch
6 beaten egg yolks
2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Put raisins in pan. Cover with water and boil five minutes. Mix together crust ingredients: butter, brown sugar, oatmeal, flour and baking soda. Press 1/2 of this mixture into 9x13 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Mix together filling ingredients: sugar, salt, cornstarch, egg yolks and sour cream. Bring to a boil (stir constantly - it scorches easily). Add raisins and vanilla. Pour this over baked crust. Sprinkle remaining crust mixture over filling. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool before cutting.
