PASTA WITH PINK SAUCE 
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 med. onion, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. chopped Italian parsley (optional)
1/4 c. grated cheese (optional)
1 lb. lg. pasta shells

Remove casing from sausage and break up. Brown sausage in deep skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook 5 minutes on medium flame until onion is tender. Reduce heat; add tomatoes and heavy cream. Cook 1 1/2 hours with cover partially on.

Prepare pasta as package directs. Pour sausage sauce over cooked pasta. Toss with grated cheese and parsley, if desired. Serve with Italian bread and a large salad! Serves 3.
