HOMEMADE BREAD 
2 pkg. yeast or 2 tbsp.
3 c. warm water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. wheat flour
4 to 6 c. white flour

Combine yeast and water; let top form air bubbles. Then add sugar and oil. Combine flour and salt; slowly add to yeast mixture. Knead and put into large bowl. Let it rise double in size and punch down and knead, do this twice.

Divide into 2 loaf pans and let bread double in size. Then bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped lightly on top. Brush top of bread with butter.
