HOMEMADE BREAD | |
2 pkg. yeast 2 c. warm water 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 6-7 c. flour 1 egg 1/4 c. salad oil Add yeast to water. Sprinkle sugar and salt in; mix well. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add egg. With mixer add 1 cup flour and let stand 15 minutes. Add 5 more cups flour and knead dough to fairly hard, adding remaining flour as needed. Cover with damp cloth and let rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
