SNOWBALL CAKE 
2 env. Knox gelatin, dissolved
1 c. boiling water
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
2 bottles Maraschino cherries (red & green), halved

Mix well; put in refrigerator to gel. Then add large bowl of Cool Whip to gel mixture. Break 2 angel food cakes into pieces and press into bottom of large, deep bowl lined with wax paper. Alternate cake then mixture until bowl is full. Use 1 bowl of whip cream to frost cake and garnish with part of cherries.
