TEXAS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
8 tbsp. cocoa
3 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
8 tbsp. milk
1 c. pecans
1 box confectioners' sugar

Mix together flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Bring half the cocoa, 2 sticks butter and water to boil and then add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour onto a cookie sheet (with sides). Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

For icing, mix in pan remaining cocoa, milk, 1 stick butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and bring to a boil. Take off stove and mix in confectioners' sugar and pecans. Pour on cake while cake is still warm.
