TURKEY & MUSHROOM CASSEROLE | |
1 c. bacon bits 3/4 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 can (4 oz.) mushroom pieces, drained 1 can condensed cream of celery soup 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded cheddar or American cheese 3 c. cooked turkey or chicken, cubed 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. Bisquick baking mix 1/2 c. milk 2 eggs Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 quart casserole dish. Stir fry the bacon, onions, celery and mushrooms until tender. Stir in the soup, sour cream, turkey or chicken, salt and pepper; heat until bubbly. Spread in the casserole dish. Mix the remaining ingredients just until moistened. Spread over the turkey mixture. Bake uncovered until golden brown, approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings. |
