BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 sticks butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. drained crushed pineapples
4 sliced bananas
1 basket strawberries (1 pt. or 1 qt. optional)
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 jar cherries
1 c. nuts (any kind, chopped, optional)

FIRST LAYER:

Mix graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick butter (melted). Pat in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan.

SECOND LAYER:

Beat together 2 sticks butter, 2 cups confectioners sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla at high speed for 5 minutes.

THIRD LAYER:

Spread 2 cups pineapple.

FOURTH LAYER:

Add sliced bananas.

FIFTH LAYER:

Spread strawberries.

SIXTH LAYER:

Spread Cool Whip.

SEVENTH LAYER:

Sprinkle nuts, chopped.

EIGHTH LAYER:

Add cherries.

Refrigerate until chilled.
