PORK CHOP MEXICANA 
6 pork chops
Salt to taste
Salad oil
3/4 c. uncooked rice
1 1/2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Taco seasoning mix
1/2 c. cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 med. sized pepper, sliced in rings

Sprinkle chops with salt, brown on both sides in small amount of hot oil. Drain on paper towel. Place chops in 13"x9" pan. Put rice around chops. Combine water, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and salt. Pour over chops and rice. Cover with a lid. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Put cheese and pepper on chops and bake 15 minutes.
