GRANDMA PENNINGTON'S DRESSING
FOR VEGETABLES
 
6 egg yolks
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard

Sift dry ingredients and add to beaten yolks.

Add:

1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. boiling water

Cook in double boiler and add a piece of butter. Use as a dressing over vegetables. A very old recipe.
