MOLDED VEGETABLES WITH ZESTY DRESSING | |
1 lg. pkg. lemon Jello 2 tsp. salt 2 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 3 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1 can French green beans, drained 1/2 c. lettuce, shredded 1/4 c. onion, sliced 1 firm med. tomato, cut into wedges 1/2 c. ham, cut in slivers 1/4 c. American cheese, cut in strips 5 c. Jello mold Dissolve Jello and salt in boiling water. Add cold water, vinegar and Tabasco sauce. Chill in bowl until slightly thick. Arrange remaining ingredients in Jello mold and pour slightly chilled liquid over them. Chill mold overnight. I turn this mold out onto a platter covered with lettuce leaves, then I decorate it with parsley and Deviled Eggs and serve it with my Zesty Dressing on the side.
