VEGETABLE POTPOURRI | |
1/3 c. chopped onion 3 tbsp. butter 1 c. sliced carrots 1/2 c. sliced celery 1 chicken bouillon cube 1/4 tsp. dill weed 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 1/4 c. hot water 1/2 c. regular uncooked rice Saute onions in butter. Add carrots, celery, bouillon cube, dill weed, garlic salt and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. |
