HAMBURGER SOUP 
3 lbs. chopped meat
1 lg. onion, cut
2 ribs celery, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
2 lg. potatoes, cubed
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp. parsley, salt, and pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 qts. water
1 c. barley
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
2 MBT beef broth

Brown meat, stirring. Blend tomatoes; add to meat and add all remaining ingredients and simmer about 1 1/2 hours. To make a smaller batch, you can cut above ingredients in half.
