1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. strawberry jello
qtsp. fresh strawberries

Mix 3 dry ingredients and add boiling water slowly. Cool. Put quart of halved or sliced strawberries in pie shell (I prefer graham cracker crust) and pour mixture over. Chill and top with whipped cream.
