RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. Raisin Bran
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. melted Crisco or cooking oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix bran, sugar, flour, salt, soda, and baking powder. Add beaten egg, buttermilk, melted Crisco or oil. Mix well. Store in refrigerator until ready to bake. (May be kept for 6 weeks. Do not freeze.) Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
