HOBO BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
4 tsp. baking soda

2 c. sugar (scant)
4 tsp. oil
Salt
4 c. flour (1 c. at a time)
1 c. chopped nuts

Dough is very thick and if too thick, add a little water. Spray (or grease and flour) three 1 pound coffee cans. Fill 1/2 full and spread evenly. Bake 60 to 80 minutes, cool slightly before removing bread.
